Lame Excuse for a Post

Postings have been very infrequent. This one feels like it is being created just to keep this going.

So what's been happening? Well, it is August in Florida, which means it has been hot and humid every day. I don't mind this heat too much, for about 5 minutes. Honestly, I am mostly too busy with work and life to be bothered.

But exciting stuff coming:

Wednesday Aug. 12 is the DMB show in Tampa at the Ford Amphitheater. The Ford happens to be adjacent to the Hard Rock Casino, so we will be there beforehand. There will probably be intense thundershowers right at the start of the show, as there are every year. Dave will be sweating profusely. Great planning - having the Florida stops of the tour in August. But I aint complaining.

Then Thursday it is off to Palm Beach for two DMB shows at the Cruzan Amphitheater. We'll be staying Thursday night thru Saturday night at a place on the beach, so I expect relaxing beach days followed by awesome music nights. The DMB shows are Friday and Saturday night. Thursday night we hope to catch the TR3 show at the Roxy. If you don't know who TR3 is (featuring Tim Reynolds), you don't know what you are missing. The sounds Tim gets to come out of a single guitar are simply super-human.
